Arthur Gregory
September 3, 2010

GREGORY, Arthur – of Davison, age 86, passed away September 3, 2010 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Susan Lidums officiating. Burial, with military honors under the auspices of Davison VFW Post 4087 will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM – 2 PM & 4–8 PM Tuesday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.

Arthur was born in Peoria, IL on December 4, 1923, son of the late Charles and Blanche (Cole) Gregory. He married Jean Provost in Port Huron, MI and she preceded him in death on February 25, 1997. Arthur was a charter member of Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church in Burton, Masonic Evergreen Lodge # 9 and a life member of the Davison VFW Post 4087. He worked at AC Spark Plug before retiring on January 1, 1985. Arthur enjoyed fishing and he coached Men’s Hockey.

Arthur is survived by his children, Thomas Gregory and Jody (George) Moyer; granddaughters, Lisa Wolfe, Michelle Lacy, Megan Gregory, Kelli Moyer and Melissa Moyer; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Sally (William) Morton and companion, Evelyn Budd of Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Brenner and daughter-in-law, Cathy Gregory.

Robert F. (Bob) Bohl
September 2, 2010

BOHL, Robert F. ‘Bob’– of Davison, age 88, passed away September 2, 2010 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Private burial will be held on a later date. Visitation will be 11 am-2 pm Tuesday.

Bob was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 25, 1921, son of the late John and Anna (Zitterkopf) Bohl. He was a resident of the Flint area most of his life. Bob married Jean Bury on February 2, 1946. He was an electrician at GM Truck and Bus, retiring with 43 years of service. Bob was a member of UAW Local # 598. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Bob was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Don Bohl, Marcia (Carl) Snyder and Mark (Jeannie) Bohl; grandchildren, Aaron and Ross Snyder, Christina, David and Derrick Bohl; great-granddaughter, Kendal Snyder; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kate Morgan and brothers, Al, Jake, John and Ed Bohl.

Marjorie (Grammy) Kufrovich
September 2, 2010

KUFROVICH, Marjorie ‘Grammy’-of Flint, age 84, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 1pm Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4, and 6-8 pm Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Marjorie was born in Adairsville, Georgia on May 3, 1926, daughter of the late John and Izora (Fowler) Harris. She married Thomas B. Kufrovich on February 4, 1944 in Georgia. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and cooking but her greatest love was her family.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Joan (Ken) Parker, Jeannie (Danny) Caudle; grandchildren, Thomas Parker, Tony (Susan) Parker, Vaughn (Diane) Hubbard, Christa Hubbard, Sarah Hanna; great-grandchildren; Justin, Johnathan, Amanda, Allison, Matthew; great-great grandchildren, Mikayla; brother, Jerry Harris. She was preceded in death by great-grandson, Neal and brothers, Frank Harris and Dickie Harris.

Clinton Guy Troupe
August 29, 2010

TROUPE, Clinton Guy – of Davison, age 71, passed away August 29, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1457 S. Belsay Rd. from 5-8 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Research.

Clinton was born in Flint, MI on December 18, 1938, son of the late Harry and Mary (Brown) Troupe. He married Janet Tokar on June 21, 1958 and she preceded him in death on August 30, 1996. Clinton retired from the City of Flint and the Davison School Bus System.

Clinton is survived by his children, Clint Troupe, Dawn (Walter) Vance, Cyndi Raible; grandchildren, Scott and Ja’net Vance, Travis and Tricia Troupe and John Crayton; great-grandchildren, Emmi Miller, Arianna Crayton; sisters, Melva Smith, Eleanor (Loren) Burt; special friends, Duane Voight, Daniel Burt, John Luark, Pat Sauer, Suzy Vance and many more.

Ronnett L. Blauer
August 29, 2010

BLAUER, Ronnett L. – of Flint, age 66, passed away August 29, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Elder John Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Community of God.

Ronnett was born in Palo Alto, CA on December 11, 1943, daughter of Ronald and Betty (Lough) Ash. She resided in the Flint area most of her life. Ronnett was a member of Eastside Community of God Church. She was employed as a bank teller; then as a seamstress in her later years. Ronnett loved gardening, sewing and playing Bingo.

Ronnett is survived by her mother, Betty Burch; son, Wayne Colin Blauer; daughter, Angela Lorraine (Daniel) Frank; grandchildren, Austin, Haiden, Summer and Joshua; brother, Jim Ash; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.
