JULY, Jean A. – of Davison, age 91, passed away May 4, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Outreach East.

Jean was born in Grand Blanc, MI on December 25, 1920, daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (Pflug) Westover. She was a graduate of Kearsley High School, class of 1941. She married Edward July on June 28, 1944 and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2009. Jean worked at AC Spark Plug for 4 years before staying home to raise her family and help operate the family farm. She and Ed were avid hunters and fishermen throughout their 65 year marriage. Jean also enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, including antiquing, crafts and painting.

Jean is survived by her 4 children, Marsha (Gary) Erickson, Carol Morgan and fiancé Mike Senn, Rita (Tim) Mrozowski and Jim (Dorrie) July; 8 grandchildren, Troy Morgan (Tina Jaeger), Amie Orlandino and fiancé Mike Jenkins, Marty Morgan, Nick Mrozowski, Kristen Mrozowski, Kelly July, Nancy (Brad) Hergott and Jeremiah (Heather) July; 5 great-grandchildren, Adam, Regan, Kady, Brody and Abby; sister, Lucille Blue; sisters-in-law, Edna Schroeder, Alice Saxon and Virginia Westover; brother-in-law, Alec (Sharon) July; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Joe Morgan; sister, Elaine (Peter) Zovishlack, brothers, Richard Westover and former wife, Mary Campbell, Donald (Polly) Westover; stepmother, Peg Westover. The family wishes to thank Jean’s caregivers at Kelly Manor and Thurlow’s AFC for all the TLC during the past 15 months.
