I am truly sorry for your loss. The following are scriptures that have helped me in dealing with the loss of my loved ones. Eccl. 9:5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Rev. 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Jehovah and His Son, Christ Jesus, have a plan set in place that will reverse the ongoing condition of death we are all currently under. This plan will revert everything back to its original purpose, to live on Earth forever, without dying again. This plan will take place in the near future.

I was shocked and saddened by Doug's passing.I went to high school with Doug. My thoughts and prayers are with the Yard family at this difficult time. Doug will always be remembered for his sense of humor and big smile and all around great person. He will be missed.

Dear family of Mr. Douglas Yard, I send my condolences. I hope you know that comfort can be found in the Holy Bible. Like Isaiah 66:13 or John 11:20-25. Jehovah God has promised to use his son, Jesus to awaken our dear loved ones sleeping in death real soon. John 5:28,29. Please read these verses and receive the comfort that only the Holy scriptures can give.

Seems like yesterday that my sister Denise and I were growing up next door to the Yard family. Many pleasant memories of playing basketball with Doug and the neighborhood gang in our parent's driveway basketball courts.
Our deepest condolances.

We're sorry for your loss. We never met Doug in person, but through Tami's words, we came to know a man with a good sense of humor; a husband and father who loved his family and put them first.
