BOWEN, Delores M. – of Mt. Morris, age 83, passed away on August 25, 2012 at Genesys Health Park-Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Delores was born in Flint, MI on July 2, 1929, daughter of the late William and Grace (Wyvill) Smith. Delores Smith married Guy Bowen on December 11, 1948. Delores was a Nurse’s Aid and retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 29 years.

Delores is survived by her husband, Guy; daughter, Nancy (Robert) Purdy; son, Rick (Jennifer) Bowen; grandchildren, Bryon Perry, Dawn Brandon, Eric Bowen; great-grandchildren, Garrett Brandon, Paige Brandon, Carsen Perry, Sloan Perry; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ed Smith and sister, Gladys McComb.
