June V. Johnson was called home by her Savior, Jesus Christ in the wee hours of the morning after her 95th birthday. The funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, August 21, 2012 with visitation before the service starting at 9:30am. The service will take place at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison, MI, Dr. John Lewis of Faith Baptist Church officiating. June was born August 18th, 1917 in Flint, MI the daughter of Percy Scott & Segret Price. She was the loving and faithful wife of Thomas A. Johnson whom she married June 7th, 1936. He preceded her in death on Christmas Eve of 1990. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Johnson was a very caring individual and worked for many years as a nurse’s aide in Flint and Grayling, MI. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Leo) Miracle and Robert (Eula) Johnson, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a dear sister-in-law Dottie (Lee) Williams. Besides her husband June was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson and Debbie Harper. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
