WOODRUFF, Shireen Kay – of Davison, age 65, passed away on August 3, 2012 at Brian’s House Hospice. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Carl Simon officiating. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM-8 PM Tuesday. On Wednesday, there will be visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison VFW Post # 4087.

Shireen was born in Flint, MI on May 15, 1947 daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen (Daly) Giguere. She was a member at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Amvets of Davison and Eagles of Davison. Shireen loved spending time with her sons, their wives and the grandchildren. Family always came first! She retired from Fernco, Inc. of Davison in 2010 after 28 years of service.

Shireen is survived by her children, Christopher (Tracy) Woodruff of Wyoming, MI, Brian (Amy) Woodruff of Ann Arbor, MI; grandchildren, Grace, Ella, Nathan, Spencer, Nolan, Mallory; siblings, Sandy (Ivory) Reynolds of Davison, Gary (Hope) Giguere of Davison, Vaughn Giguere of TN, Patty (Jim) Strobridge of Fenton, Janice (Dave) Vernier of Davison, Marc (Connie ) Giguere of Linden, Mickie Lynn (Steve) Hurley of Burton; sister’s in law, Laurie (Peter) Goodwin of CA, Penny Yorton of TX; best buddy and friend for over 53 years, Judy Cole of Flint. She was preceded in death by her parents.
