GRIFFIN, Adeline Mary – of Davison, age 85, passed away July 11, 2012 at Suncrest in Lapeer. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. A private family entombment will take place. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Scripture Service will be held 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Suncrest Auxiliary.

Adeline was born in Flint on September 12, 1926, daughter of the late Andrew and Berniece Jagielnik. Adeline Jagielnik married Leonard Griffin on October 19, 1949. She greatly loved her family and friends.

Adeline is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard; children, Karen (Tom) O’Connor, Kevin (Kim) Griffin and Kerry (Tom) Kievit; grandchildren, Kristopher, Lauren, Kelly, Cris, Carrie and Kelsey; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward and sisters, Joan, Lottie, Val, Virginia and Delores. Adeline’s family gives special thanks to the staff of Suncrest for the exceptional care and love that she was shown.
