VOUGHT, Grace Elizabeth “Betty”– of Flint, age 84, passed away June 24, 2012 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Richfield Road United Brethren Church; Rev. Jim Pryor officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Saturday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Betty was born in Flint, MI on May 28, 1928, to Hazell and Harold Pettengill. She was a loving wife and mother, and she had a very kind heart that found it easy to care for all living things. She married Donald Vought on June 25, 1949, and they enjoyed 54 years together before Don died in 2003. She missed him every day since.

Betty is survived by her four children, Diane (Wayne) Witte, David (Diana) Vought, Lynette Vought (Randy Groves) and Stephen (Virginia) Vought, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
