BRASSEUR, Bernard – of Davison, age 83, passed away June 12, 2012 at McLaren-Flint. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 followed by a Funeral Liturgy. Rev. Fr. Carl Simon will officiate. The services will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 12-2 and 4-6 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Bernard was born in Afton, MI on October 29, 1928, son of the late Arthur and Anna (Ampthor) Brasseur. He married Dorothy Brasseur and Hilda Brasseur. Both wives preceded him in death. Bernard was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. He was employed by Herks Auto Supply, Inc. in Pontiac for over 30 years.

Bernard is survived by his son, Roger (Kay) Brasseur; brother, Carl Brasseur and sister, Bernice Socienski. He was preceded in death by seven siblings.
