RIOPELLE, Margo Lynn – of Burton, age 58, passed away May 2, 2012 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci celebrant. Cremation will follow the Mass. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital for Bone Marrow Transplants or to Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Margo was born in Marquette, Michigan on November 21, 1953, daughter of the late George Jelich and Elizabeth (Spears) Heufelder. Margo Jelich married Joseph Riopelle on August 7, 1971 in Marquette. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Patrick Guild. Margo was a rural carrier with the United States Postal Service for 16 years. She worked from the Lapeer Post Office.
Margo is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph; children, Dawn (Scott) Hanson of Escanaba, Robert (Jennifer) Riopelle of Davison and Wendy (Craig) Titsworth of Clio; grandchildren, Jordan, Josh and Jared Hanson of Escanaba, Rachel and Ryan Riopelle of Davison, Gabriel, Lynden and Emersen Titsworth; sisters, Toni (Tony) Botta of Lehigh Acres, FL, Kim (Mike) Cook of Lansing, MI and Patricia (Richard) Cooney of Stevens Point, WI.
