BARRY, Edmund D. – of Flint, age 64, passed away April 8, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Deacon Michael Dear officiating. Burial, with Military Honors under the auspices of the Davison American Legion Post #267 will be in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday, 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
Edmund was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 7, 1947. He proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era; serving in Vietnam and Thailand. Edmund married Annette Koski on May 12, 1990 in Flint. He was employed at GM Truck and Bus Plant for 34 years and was a member of UAW Local 598.
Edmund is survived by his wife, Annette; daughter, Christine Barry (Kathy Markarian); siblings, Robert (LeeAnn) Barry, Linda (Tim) Sharp, Wayne (Cathy) Barry and Patrick Barry; step-father, David Norwood; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Lee (Wetenhall) Barry; mother, Loretta (Warner) Norwood; son, David Barry and sister, Suzanne Stockton.
